In their history of encounters, Manchester United and AS Roma have faced off eight times, with United holding a slight edge, securing five victories, one draw, and two defeats. Despite Roma's triumph in the Europa League semi-finals second leg in May 2021, with a 3-2 victory, United ultimately advanced to the next round with a combined score of 8-5.
